Dicebound's online features (account, friends, chat, online library, purchases, creator earnings) are for people aged 18 or older. We ask you to confirm this when you sign in. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has an account, email vanordensolutionsllc@gmail.com and we will delete it. [LAWYER: confirm the age threshold; 13 is the COPPA minimum, 16 applies in parts of the EU, and 18 is needed to contract and to receive payouts.]
Characters, campaigns, saves, journals, generated pictures, settings, downloaded AI models, imported files. Local play with on-device AI or your own Ollama/OpenAI-compatible server never reaches us. If you point the app at a server you chose, that server's operator receives your prompts under their own policy.
Characters, saves, campaigns you made, and, if you choose, pictures. Kept while your pass or plan is active; deleted 90 days after it lapses (see section 6).
When you tap Report on story text, a picture or a voice line, we receive your reason, your note and a short excerpt of that output (up to 500 characters in total).
Our service providers (Google/Firebase, Cloudflare, Stripe, the AI provider) process IP addresses and device/app identifiers to deliver the service and prevent abuse. Model downloads come from Hugging Face or GitHub, which see your IP address. We do not use crash-reporting or analytics SDKs. [OWNER: update this if you add any.]
Contract (providing the features you ask for), legitimate interests (security, fraud and abuse prevention, moderation), legal obligation (tax and accounting), and consent (push notifications, camera and microphone access, optional recommendations). You can withdraw consent in the app or in Android settings.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.

Everyone: delete your account and cloud data in the app, or email vanordensolutionsllc@gmail.com (we respond within 30 days). Export: email us to receive a copy of your cloud data; you can also export campaigns as .dicebound files in the app. Correct your name in Account. Turn off notifications in Android settings. Block and report people in the app.
EEA/UK: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority. California and other US states: know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising rights; we do not sell or share personal information. To use a right, email vanordensolutionsllc@gmail.com; we may need to verify it is you.
If you cannot open the app, email vanordensolutionsllc@gmail.com from your account email address with the subject "Delete my Dicebound account", or use https://dicebound-1a716.web.app/delete-account. We delete your account and cloud data within 30 days and confirm by email. Deletion removes: your profile, friends, requests, blocks, invites and push tokens; backups and cloud pictures; your custom avatar; published campaigns (copies already bought stay with the buyers); reviews you wrote; the messages and pictures you sent in group chats, and direct chats you were in; your credit wallet and subscription entitlements. Unspent credits, subscriptions (cancel those in Google Play) and creator earnings that were not cashed out or converted are forfeited, except where the law requires us to pay them. We keep only the records listed as kept in section 6 (financial and tax records, under an internal account ID with no personal details, and reports for safety), and delete them when their retention period ends. Data is encrypted in transit; access is protected by account sign-in, Firebase security rules and server-side checks. No system is perfectly secure.
Our servers are in the United States (Google Cloud us-central1). If you are in the EEA/UK, your data is transferred under [Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable].
